Professionally receives incoming calls from clients and employees. Reviews existing processes and develop improvements/solutions.Īssists with confidential paperwork and sensitive issues. Prepares spreadsheets, tracks data, and develops summary.Īssists Area Mangers to ensure accurate completion of new hire DOT paperwork. Writes, edits and proofreads letters, proposals, reports, and other documents. Maintain documentation of safety data sheets (SDS) and training records. Immediately investigate all accidents as soon as possible after any accident and submit required accident reporting to corporate office. Regular inspections, at minimum weekly, will be made of all DOT required paperwork. Perform regular audits and inspections of company work areas office/shops, field locations, trucks and equipment. Overall responsibility for Driver DOT logs and FMCSA regulation compliance to reduce driver DOT violations and citations. Schedules and conducts all safety training that is required (health and safety plan, new rules and safe work practices) Must be able to work long hours and travel as needed. Ensures the organization complies with all current safety regulations. Helps implement, monitor, and manage safety programs, policies, and procedures. The Field Safety Manager/Field HSE & DOT Compliance Specialist is responsible for all safety training, safety inspections, accident investigations and DOT compliance.
